My 25th BIRTHDAY...8.27.09

I had a great B-Day! And I'm very optimistic this is going to be MY year! It just feels good. Chris and I went to Einsteins for Breakfast, I went to Paradise Bakery w/ my sisters and Mom. We did Tia Rosa's for dinner w/ Chris' family and then Friday night we did dinner at Pei Wei and then bowling w/ my Family! SO much fun!

I love my Christopher...I think I may be the luckiest girl alive!!

*favorite memory from this weekend... walking out of Borders just across the street from Scottsdale Fashion Square, it had just started to sprinkle. We decided to take seat on a covered bench to watch the rain. We had no care in the world, no where we had to be. We were with each other, that's all we needed. The rain got harder, lightning & thunder got closer and louder, the wind only grew more fierce with time. Trees were breaking and we occasionally got sprayed. We sat there for 20-30 minutes. It was perfect. Then we ran to our car in the rain, like little kids. We were soaked in a matter of minutes and we loved it... cheesy!? I know, but I don't care. I'm in love.

you help us w/ our yard...we'll take you camping

Chris' dad has been so nice to help him w/ our sprinklers. It was quite the task. I can't tell you how many hours went into this!! So we thought it would only be right to Take Pops camping! And of course to Tonto Natural Bridge that he really really wanted to show us!!

Tonto Natural Bridge was very cool. Breckyn came with us which was great because we love our BreckyDoodle and I needed someone to help me pick apples!

And then Pops made Apple Pie! Which was one of his BEST pies yet :)

Our little camping trip to Blue Ridge Reservoir was a lot of fun. It felt like we did a lot of eating! But we also fit in a hike to work off some of that food!

We had fun w/ Pops! Now we can't wait for him to help us with our grass so we can re-pay him again w/ maybe another camping extravaganza!!

who knew it would only take 16 weeks to receive a couch!?

That's a joke. We ordered this couch the day we signed on our house! We were told it would take 6-8 weeks maybe 12. But that it rarely took 12. We were ok with that. So we were forced to patiently wait. And wait. But it was worth it! We love our couch!! It's much more comfortable then the adirondack chairs that were sitting there before!

Miss Annabelle!

So I failed to mention our Annabelle GRADUATED this year! We're so proud of you Annie :) Thanks for giving us the opportunity to stand in the rain for a couple of hours! We'd all do it again in a heart beat for ya! And Annie also turned 18 on July 30!!

AND...on the same night as Annie's Graduation, Courtney had her 5th most sweet and precious baby, REX!! We love you Rex and Courtney :)

Carlsbad July 2009

So Chris and I were able to go over to Carlsbad and hang out with my family for a couple of days. This has become a tradition w/ my family. We camp, making a week at the beach really inexpensive and actually a lot of fun! You get together at someone's sight at night and all eat together. You're together down at the beach all day. It really is a great way to spend some quality time with the ones you love!! I hope Chris and I are able to do it every year! There's actually a lot of families from our new ward that go to this same spot over Labor Day weekend and we're planning on attending! Can't wait to go back for some R&R! The pictures are random, sorry!

Desperately need to update!!

and OH do I have soooo many things to update everyone on!! ;)
jk, because really, I promise our lives just aren't that interesting. promise.
But things that excite me at the moment....
~the idea of going camping to get out of the blasted heat
~the idea of laying out in the blasted heat to get a beautiful golden tan
~the idea of waking up really early to beat the blasted heat and jog(yes Chris, I'm a jogger at the moment, not a 'runner'...sorry)
~starting my super duper powerful coolest thing ever invented, fertility drugs
~my cute lil cherry tomatoes that are growing in my garden. and our chilis, those are cute too. bell peppers, you were cute until the sun scorched you
~the fact that my couch should be here any day!(it's been 11 weeks since i ordered the dang thing)
~my freshly, perfectly painted bathroom thanks to chris :)
~and my fertility drugs. those excite me most i think. because fertility drugs(aka shots, shots and more shots and pills ofcourse) = baby. ahhhh :) now what can be more exciting than that
