Desperately need to update!!

and OH do I have soooo many things to update everyone on!! ;)
jk, because really, I promise our lives just aren't that interesting. promise.
But things that excite me at the moment....
~the idea of going camping to get out of the blasted heat
~the idea of laying out in the blasted heat to get a beautiful golden tan
~the idea of waking up really early to beat the blasted heat and jog(yes Chris, I'm a jogger at the moment, not a 'runner'...sorry)
~starting my super duper powerful coolest thing ever invented, fertility drugs
~my cute lil cherry tomatoes that are growing in my garden. and our chilis, those are cute too. bell peppers, you were cute until the sun scorched you
~the fact that my couch should be here any day!(it's been 11 weeks since i ordered the dang thing)
~my freshly, perfectly painted bathroom thanks to chris :)
~and my fertility drugs. those excite me most i think. because fertility drugs(aka shots, shots and more shots and pills ofcourse) = baby. ahhhh :) now what can be more exciting than that

Did the Easter Bunny visit you??

Ok so better late then never to share my Easter story, right?? Saturday night went something like this....

7:00pm--start the process of boiling 12 dozen eggs...

7:30ishpm--start the process of coloring 12 dozen eggs...

8:00pm--not enough eggs, go to the grocery story, buy 5 dozen more eggs...

10:30pm--finish coloring all 17 dozen eggs(minus about a carton and 1/2 that cracked)...
Ocotillo/Ironwood got 2 dozen...
Germaine/Power got 2 dozen...
Ray/Recker got 2 dozen...
Guadalupe/Recker got 2 dozen...
Lindsey/Broadway got 2 dozen...
Gilbert/202 got 2 dozen...

1:00am--Finally home.

Sunday morning came and sure enough, the siblings started calling, one by one, accusing my parents of the magical easter bunny that arrived unexptectedly.

They were all so confused when it wasn't my parents. And spent all day asking around...

It wasn't until that night, when we all got together, they found out they were all visited... and when they finally decided to put the blame on Chris & I, I couldn't resist doing the bunny hop across the kitchen.

~Sorry JaNae & Brad...I didn't know you emailed the Easter Bunny to tell him to come AFTER church, since you have 8am church! haha.
~Sorry Michelle & Rick...I didn't know the sprinklers would come on and therefore get dye all over your kids hands and on their cute Easter outfits! haha.
~Sorry Hillary & Ryan...who probably had to pick all 24 eggs up yourselves because your kids are too small and your grass is too tall for them to even find them...hahahah
~Sorry Raymond & Karie...whose kids were all sick the night before and could probably care less to hunt for easter eggs...Raymond, was that fun? haha
~Sorry Spencer & Alisha...whose kids will now always expect the Easter Bunny to come more then once! haha
~Sorry Brian & Mairsy...to be the last ones to find out it was us! :)

FYI, I have to credit sweet Daina for this idea..she always has the greatest ideas!! We had SO much fun doing it! HAPPY EASTER!!

Quick trip to San Diego~Jan. 8th-11th

This trip was so fun and relaxing. Timing was perfect. It was the weekend before Chris' busy season started at Deloitte & Touche. Busy Season at Deloitte means 3months of about 60hr work weeks. So we thought we ought to get away, just the two of us. We did Disneyland, San Diego Zoo(which was my first time there and I absolutely LOVED it) and we went over to Coronado Island and ate ice cream on the deck at Hotel Del. But anyway, here are some pictures of that weekend...

Walking around Gas Lamp District

Debbie Downer Regret...

So of course I have to come out of blog hibernation with debbie downer news! How horrible is that!? It did feel really good to vent but I have to admit that I feel a little guilty. I realize there are many worse things out there and I shouldn't be complaining. Chris and I talked to Dr. Rychlik yesterday and we're pretty confident in-vitro is going to work! So that's very exciting. So before I do in-vitro, my doctor requires that I go to this one hour class his clinic provides. It basically goes over everything involved with in-vitro. I just think it's awesome that they do that, because nothing is worse then the unknown. But if any of you know someone who went to THE BEST fertility doctor, let me know! I feel the need to do a little bit of research to make sure I'm spending my money and time wisely. And thank you so much to everyone for your kind words. That really meant a lot. Something makes me feel bad about getting that sympathy tho, but I kind of asked for it, didn't I?? Oops. Like I said, I know everyone has their own trials right now and we're all just trying to make it through each day! I guess the upside to blogging is that you're allowed to post whatever you want to! And if venting makes you feel good, BY GOLLY VENT!!

ANYWAY.... I think it's time to pull out the ole memory card from the camera and catch up on some posts, what do you think?!!

BTW, hibernation was awesome... EVERYONE should do it! No, really! Come Halloween, everyone should forget about blogging and just focus on fattening up. Its perfect really. You have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, GROUNDHOG DAY and Valentines. Fun.

To Be Bitter...or Not To Be Bitter...

You see...I was supposed to be pregnant right now. Actually, I was supposed to be pregnant last October. But really, I really should've accidentally been impregnated some time in the last 4yrs...seeing how nothing was ever done to prevent it. But no...for some reason, some reason much bigger than you or I could know...I'm not pregnant. 4 months with the fertility specialist, mastering how to give myself a shot (which I have to admit, I actually have enjoyed feeling like a little nurse), the two week dreadful waiting period for finding out whether or not the turkey baster worked, a couple of family fasts(thank you family), and many many visits to the Dr for ultra sounds...I'm not pregnant.
I'll tell you something...Camelback Mountain will most definitely be feeling my anger tomorrow!! hehe, jk. But really, I am going to do my new recent favorite thing tomorrow...jog up as much of Camelback as I can. And then a fun little trip to Scottsdale Mall w/ my mother n-law and new found and very much loved extended cousins, Debbie and Ghislaine and Great Aunt Cletha...A perfect way to spend my Beloved Half Day Tuesday.
I have an appointment w/ my doctor on Wednesday to discuss what will be next...I'm thinking it will most likely be in-vitro. To many of you, in-vitro isn't a big deal because you hear about people doing it all the time now. But I wasn't supposed to need to do in-vitro. There's nothing wrong with me, dangit!! So it is a big deal to me. But I won't be thinking about that tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my day. My day to do things that give me relief. Make me happy. ENDORPHINS, I miss you. I've been cutting back on the vigorous running for my IUI's. But I think I'm going to take a breather. Yes, in-vitro can wait until summer. Summer is a very relaxed time of year. Perfect. I need relaxed.
Not to be bitter...that's what I choose.
